Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Four Auburn Greek organizations are on a “Special Status,” according to the University's Office of Greek Life.
University officials did not specify what those special statuses were but noted that organizations are placed on special status when "alleged behavior is concerning enough that it seems that the health and safety of students may be in jeopardy.”
The University will not release specifics on the incidents, but according to Jill Martin, Director of Greek Life, “complaints typically allege misuse of alcohol or hazing.”
Of Auburn’s 51 greek organizations, four have been placed on a special status.
