Starr, Veazey lead EETV poll as election ends

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - At the close of voting, Patrick Starr and Mary Spencer Veazey lead Eagle Eye's online poll.

This year, only SGA President and Miss Auburn have contested positions. Students also voted on a referendum to change the way postseason football tickets are distributed.

EETV ran a poll on EagleEyeAuburn.com asking students how they would vote.

For the position of President, Patrick Starr leads the pack with 48% of the vote. Mike O'Key comes in second with 19% followed by Brianna Thomas with 18% of the vote. Dane Block also landed in the double digits receiving 12% of the vote. Porter Kennedy received 2%.\In the Miss Auburn Poll,


Mary Spencer Veazey led the vote with 41% followed by Kathryn Kennedy at 31%. Placing third, Bria Randal received 15%, Zuri Foster received 11% and Bailey Sullivan received 2%.

Credit Hour & Loyalty Based ticket distribution was the favorite with 55% of students selecting that option. 

Official results for today's election will be announced at 10:00. EETV will broadcast the results live on Facebook.
