STARKVILLE, MS (EETV)- The Auburn Tigers took a loss in their first conference away game, losing to the Mississippi State Bulldogs 23-9. This is the second SEC loss for the tigers after losing to LSU at home in September. Auburn will take on the Tennessee Volunteers at Jordan-Hare Stadium October 13.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- A pedestrian was struck by a train Thursday afternoon in Auburn. According to Auburn Police Division spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, an east bound CSX train struck a 20 year old female near the North Donahue Drive crossing. The victim was transported to the East Alabama Medical Center with serious injuries.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey kicked off the annual Beat Bama Food Drive Monday with a ceremony at the State Capitol Building. The project, which is in conjunction with the University of Alabama's Beat Auburn Beat Hunger, works to raise money and cans for food banks in the state. Cans and dollars raised by Auburn University students goes to the Food Bank of East Alabama and those raised by University of Alabama students goes to the West Alabama Food Bank.
