STARKVILLE, MS (EETV)- The Auburn Tigers took a loss in their first conference away game, losing to the Mississippi State Bulldogs 23-9. This is the second SEC loss for the tigers after losing to LSU at home in September. Auburn will take on the Tennessee Volunteers at Jordan-Hare Stadium October 13.
OPELIKA, Ala. (EETV)- Opelika Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an identity theft case. According to police, the suspect used the victim's information to open up a credit card account at Best Buy and then made several purchases.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- A pedestrian was struck by a train Thursday afternoon in Auburn. According to Auburn Police Division spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, an east bound CSX train struck a 20 year old female near the North Donahue Drive crossing. The victim was transported to the East Alabama Medical Center with serious injuries.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey kicked off the annual Beat Bama Food Drive Monday with a ceremony at the State Capitol Building. The project, which is in conjunction with the University of Alabama's Beat Auburn Beat Hunger, works to raise money and cans for food banks in the state. Cans and dollars raised by Auburn University students goes to the Food Bank of East Alabama and those raised by University of Alabama students goes to the West Alabama Food Bank. Those interested in donating can drop food in the barrels located across campus or can donate funds by visiting www.alabamafoodfight.org.

The closet is located in Auburn's Mary Martin Hall and features a large array of professional clothing. The clothes, which are all donated, are offered to any Auburn student free of charge.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn Police arrested Alexander C. Hernandez, age 23, from Fort Benning, Georgia Monday on a felony warrant charging him with Rape First Degree. Police say that a victim was found May 12 unconscious on Engineering Drive, which its located on the campus of Auburn University. The victim was eventually transported to the East Alabama Medical Center due to the victim's level of intoxication. Further investigation by authorities, including a DNA examination by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, determined that Hernandez, an acquaintance of the victim, sexually assaulted her. Detectives charged Hernandez with Rape First Degree.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn Police are looking for a suspect in connection to a recent theft investigation. Police say that the individual entered a laundry room at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Shug Jordan Parkway on September 24, and pried open several of the coin boxes on the commercial vending washers and dryers and took an undisclosed amount of money. The event will feature speakers from Auburn Student Affairs, Tiger Dining and dining contractor Aramark. Students will be able to ask questions and hear more about recent changes to the dining scene on campus. Free food will be provided at the event.
