Led by Freshmen Chris Rembert and Bub Terrell’s combined 8 for 11 night, Auburn used a seven-run fourth inning to strike first and remain in the lead for the rest of the game. Tiger pitching hurled eight scoreless innings and Auburn won 11-1 and advance to their first home Super Regional in program history.
Auburn defeated Central Connecticut State on Friday to move on to the next round of the regional. The Tigers did so behind the strong performance of Carson Myers and multi-hit games from five starters.
