From Plainsman Park to the Big Leagues: Eight Auburn Players Selected in the 2022 MLB Draft

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- In a historical MLB draft for Auburn Baseball, eight Auburn Tigers were drafted to Major League Baseball programs over the three days of the 2022 draft. This marks the second most in the school's history and most over 20 rounds. In seven years under head coach, Butch Thompson, 36 players have been drafted, including 16 taken in the first round.

ICYMI: Auburn Baseball Picks Up a Midweek Win Against Samford

AUBURN, Alabama (EETV)- Auburn Baseball continued their winning ways this Tuesday in Plainsman Park, defeating in-state opponent and SEC Player of the Week, Sonny DiChara's, former school Samford, 4-1. The No.17 Tigers utilized three pitchers for a combined 17 strikeouts, the second most in a game this season.

After a Historic Regular Season for Auburn Gymnastics, Lee and Gobourne Each Earn an SEC Post Season Honor

AUBURN, Ala.(EETV)- For the first time in Auburn history, two Tigers were honored with one of the three SEC postseason awards in the same season. Freshman Sunisa Lee and Senior Derrian Gobourne of the No. 7 Auburn Gymnastics team both earned a Southeastern Conference post season award. Lee was named Freshman of the Year, while Gobourne was awarded Co-Specialist of the Year.

Auburn Softball's Makayla Packer Named Co-SEC Player of the Week

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV)- Makayla Packer received her first Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week honor following an impressive performance at the plate in the past six games for the Tigers. Packer shares this week's title with Missouri’s Casidy Chaumont, and is the first Auburn player to receive this honor since Alyssa Rivera on March 2, 2020.
