Auburn women's golf competes in Kauth Invitational

The Auburn women's golf team is competing in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio this week.  The team finished the first round on Sunday, ending the day at No. 11 in the overall team standings.  The Tigers shot a 301 (+13) in the opening round.

Johnson, Carlson receive SEC honors

The SEC announced Monday that two Auburn Tigers received player of the week honors. Running back Kerryon Johnson was named Offensive Player of the Week, while his teammate kicker Daniel Carlson received Special Teams Player of the Week. Johnson rushed for a career high 204 yards against Ole Miss and had three touchdowns.

Volleyball Sweeps Arkansas

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) -  Volleyball finished out the weekend with another sweep, this time against Arkansas. The Tigers won the match 3-0 and now improve their record to 10-3 overall. “I’m very happy with the aggressiveness we played with today,” Auburn head coach Rick Nold said to Auburn Athletics.

Caroline Bado Named to National Team of the Week

Auburn soccer added another player this week to receive national honors. TopDrawerSoccer.com named Caroline Bado to the National Team of the Week, after she led the Tigers’ defense in two dominate conference games. Bado follows in the footsteps of fellow teammate Hannah Alspach, who earned the same honor last week. Bado is a redshirt senior defender and was also named SEC Defensive Player of the Week, in addition to her national honors. “We had two great games defensively last week, and Caroline is clearly the leader of our back line,” head coach Karen Hoppa said.

Auburn volleyball sweeps Georgia, 3-0

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn volleyball swept Georgia on the road this weekend, 3-0. The Tigers are now undefeated in SEC play and have a 9-2 record overall this season, which is the best start since 2013. Jesse Earl recorded 18 digs against Georgia and had an ace in the match.
