Auburn school of pharmacy dean Rick Hansen resigns

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Effective immediately, Rick Hansen has resigned as dean of the Harrison School of Pharmacy following reports of misconduct. Dan Surry, associate dean for faculty affairs and strategic initiatives will serve as acting dean while an internal search for an interim dean is completed.

The Tigers have suffered from the inability to finish games, inconsistency from the field and have been unable to establish a defensive identity. When first-year head coach Johnnie Harris’ squad traveled to Coumbia, South Carolina on Thursday night, the group struggled with more of the same.

Smith's Big Scoring Night Helps Auburn Take Command of Vanderbilt

Fighting till the last-second, the Tigers fell to the Razorbacks with 0.4 seconds remaining on the clock as leading scorer Amber Ramirez drove to the baseline and banked in a short jumper giving Arkansas the win.
