Lagrange man arrested on multiple charges in Auburn

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police have arrested James F. Romine, 29, of Lagrange, Georgia for Burglary, Breaking and Entering of a vehicle, and Theft of Property. The arrest stems from reports filed with police about a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 300 block of N.

Auburn University Provost announces retirement

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - In a message to faculty and Staff of Auburn University, provost and vice president for academic affairs,  Timothy Boosinger, announced his plans to retire. Boosinger is set to retire from in early 2018. The following Message was sent to University staff: "Boosinger was named provost in 2012 after serving as interim provost for a year.

Auburn one step closer to a new downtown parking deck

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) – Downtown Auburn has been the hub of excitement as updates to the area have been announced over the last several months. Parking in downtown has been a consistent point of issue for years and the city, as we have previously reported, is taking a holistic approach to combat the issue. A presentation was presented at the last city council meeting outlining the plan and showing drawings of what the potential deck could look like. The deck would be built on the property currently occupied by the Baptist Student Union.

UPDATE: No one injured after shots fired Sunday Night

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police released new information Tuesday Morning following reports of shots fired on Sunday night.  Captian Lorenza Dorsey says that a single gunshot was fired into a residence in the 500 block of Foster street. There was minor damage and no injuries were reported.  As previously reported, there was never a threat to campus or the community.

Auburn's defense leads Tigers to victory

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn fans didn't question whether their Tigers would win today, but rather they were asking themselves where this teams strengths were. In the first quarter, third down for Georgia Southern, Shai Werts drops back to pass and is sacked by Marlon Davidson to force the Eagles to punt. Later in the first, with Auburn up 10-0, quarterback Jarrett Stidham looks to pass across the middle only to have the ball picked off by Jay Bowdy. On Auburn's next drive, Stidham is pressured immediately by Georgia Southern and fumbles the ball.

3 Players Suspended for Auburn Prior to Kickoff

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Tiger Walk. A tradition that any Auburn fan will recognize.  The Tigers were welcomed by hundreds of their fans before their first game of the season, officially welcoming football back to the plains.  With this year's game day enhancements by Auburn Athletics, fans were able to stop at a station and make signs supporting their favorite Auburn Tiger.  The  No. 12 Auburn Tiger's will kick off at 6:30 at Jordan-Hare Stadium against Georgia Southern.
