EMA said in a Facebook post that there is currently no severe weather and that siren technicians are currently working to see what caused them to go off. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (EETV) – The Justice Department today announced that two former Tuskegee Police Department lieutenants, Alex Huntley, 53, and Darian Locure, 44, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their roles in the beating of an arrestee and an attempted cover-up.
Opelika, Ala. (EETV) – Today, U.S. Army Veteran & Republican, Todd Rauch, announced his candidacy for Alabama House of Representatives - District 38th, which covers parts of Chambers & Lee Counties. Upon his announcement, Rauch said.
Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police have arrested Brian D. Askew, 3,7 and Corey B. Heard, 36, in connection to the kidnapping and rape of a 13-year-old female runaway that was reported in October 2017. Auburn Police charged Askew with Human Trafficking First Degree.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (EETV)- University of Alabama Student Government Association President Jared Hunter was arrested Sunday by Tuscaloosa Police and charged with driving under the influence. Hunter, who received widespread attention when he was elected in 2017, was the first African American SGA President to be endorsed by the University of Alabama’s “Machine” organization. Eagle Eye TV has reached out to the University of Alabama for comment and will update this story once we hear from them.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Officers with the Auburn Police Division responded to a criminal trespassing call Sunday afternoon on the campus of Auburn University. The incident was reported to have occurred in the 300 block of War Eagle Way, which is close to many of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering buildings. According to police spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, officers made contact with two juveniles who were alleged to have trespassed on a construction site. The juveniles were not Auburn University students and were released to their legal guardians. No injuries or damage were reported.

OPELIKA, Ala. (EETV)- Alabama State Rep. George Bandy, D-Opelika, passed away Tuesday at the age of 72. Bandy was first elected to the Alabama Legislature in 1994 and represented portions of Lee and Russell Counties.
