Bruce Pearl speaks for first time since Chuck Person Arrest

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Bruce Pearl faced the media for the first time since the arrest of associate head coach Chuck Person. "I stand by the university statement and the conduct that is alleged is not acceptable," said Pearl on the Person allegations. The allegations of bribery against Person have drawn a lot of focus to the status of the Auburn basketball program.

Men's Tennis travels to Nashville

Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Men's Tennis will be back on the court at the Commodore Scramble on Friday through Sunday. The tournament is hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Doubles tennis will begin play at 9 a.m.

Caroline Bado Named to National Team of the Week

Auburn soccer added another player this week to receive national honors. TopDrawerSoccer.com named Caroline Bado to the National Team of the Week, after she led the Tigers’ defense in two dominate conference games. Bado follows in the footsteps of fellow teammate Hannah Alspach, who earned the same honor last week. Bado is a redshirt senior defender and was also named SEC Defensive Player of the Week, in addition to her national honors. “We had two great games defensively last week, and Caroline is clearly the leader of our back line,” head coach Karen Hoppa said.

WAKE UP AUBURN: National Women's Health and Fitness day

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Each Wednesday Wake Up Auburn celebrates a national holiday. This week the team celebrates National Women's Health and Fitness day doing Zumba with Claire Broussard from Auburn's Recreation and Wellness Center. Zumba is a dance craze that has swept the country and has become particularly popular among women. The workout consists of doing high-intensity dance moves to upbeat music.  It is estimated that Zumba is practiced in 200 countries by 15 million people.  Join Charlsie and Christie for a fun morning workout

EJ Montgomery Decommits from Auburn

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - E.J. Montgomery has decommitted from Auburn, first reported by Scout.com Wednesday morning. Montgomery, a five-star power forward out of Marietta, Ga, decommited one day after Auburn associate head coach Chuck Person was charged in a federal bribery case. Montgomery's father told Scout.com, "We are going to open EJ's recruitment back up." The 6'10 forward from Wheeler High School is currently the No. 4 power forward prospect and is currently ranked No. 17 overall. This is the first major recruitment decommitment since the news broke of the FBI probe investigation on Sept.

Tiger Dining hosts "AU-Chopped" cooking competition

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Tiger Dining Senior Executive Chef Emil invited three student teams into the kitchen Tuesday night to battle it our Chopped style. The "COSAMwhiches", "Delta" and "Honors Cucina" battled it out for an hour over the stove working to defeat their opponents.  The competitors were required to use a number of ingredients Auburn Fish, barley, Cattleman's BBQ sauce and heirloom tomatoes. Fifteen minutes into the competition Chef Emil entered the cooking area with a box of surprise ingredients. "Your challenge is to incorporate two of the following three ingredients into your dish: Vienna weenies, rice cakes and cinnamon candies." Each team took a unique technique in their preparation.  The COSAMwhiches created a fish taco with a barley salad presented in an avocado shell. Delta took inspiration from the BBQ sauce preparing a BBQ fish presented family style for the judges.  Honors Cucina Created a fish stew and a side of Bruschetta with melted cinnamon candies stung across the dish.
