Annual Beat Bama Blood Drive to be Held Next Week

AUBURN, Ala (EETV) - The American Red Cross will be hosting their annual Beat Bama Blood Drive this week in the Auburn University Student Center Ballroom. According to data from the American Red Cross, every two seconds a person in the United States is in need of blood, with the most requested type being type O.

War Eagle's Love Horse Wins Major Race

AUBURN, Ala. – A filly owned by Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine alumnus Dr. Bryan Waldridge ’91 recently won in her inaugural race at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky, in something of a Cinderella story. War Eagle’s Love was purchased by Dr. Waldridge last year for just $2,700, and considered to be a longshot.

Aubie to compete for 10th national title

With a 20 word tweet and a two-minute video, Aubie has announced that he will compete for his 10th National Title.  According to the Universal Cheerleaders Association Aubie ranked 1st in video entries.  Watch Aubie's Video The award-winning tiger has taken home the national title in 1991, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2006, 2012, 2014 and 2016. In 2017 Aubie came in second place to Goldy Gopher from the University of Minnesota. Aubie will compete for the national title on January 12 - 14 in Orlando, Florida.

Team Meshes in Road Win

College Station, Texas (EETV) - No. 14 Auburn close out their three-game road series with a win at College Station 42-27 over Texas A&M. Auburn's defense had a big game coming off the bye-week allowing 143 rushing years and 200 passing yards between 2 Aggie quarterbacks.  Special teams headlined the game for the Tigers.  Freshman walk-on punter Aidan Marshall averaged 47.4 yards a punt with his long being 70.  Nick Griffin made the stand-out play for Auburn, blocking a punt late in the first half which Malik Miller recovered in the end zone for the touchdown. The Auburn offense opened up the playbook and ended the day with 268 passing yards and 228 rushing yards with zero turnovers. The Tigers looked in sync coming off their bye-week despite a slow start in the first half.  Head coach Gus Malzhan praised all areas of the game but said they would need to focus on their specials teams more as they allowed a big kick off return and allowed 2 blocked punts.  Malzhan went on to say that he wants his team to enjoy this win and they we be all in for Georgia come Sunday. Auburn is set to take on the current number 1 team in the nation, the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov.

Sigma Pi Dances Their Way to 1st Place at G Phi Beat

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – Gamma Phi Beta hosted their annual fundraising event, G Phi Beat, on November 2nd to a huge crowd at the Student Activities Center. G Phi Beat is a dance competition amongst fraternities that benefits Girls on the Run, a program that works to encourage young ladies to live healthy lifestyles and be happy with who they are. Even though the main purpose for the G Phi Beat event was to raise money for GOTR, many students were excited to see fraternities “bust a move” on stage after weeks of hard work and preparation.

Sara P's Fast 5: 5 Keys to Defeating the Aggies on the Road

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Coming off the bye, No. 14 Auburn will finish their three-game road series at Texas A&M.  The Tigers have had a lot of success in College Station, winning every game they have played there since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012.  Although the Aggies come into the game unranked, they will be a tough team for Auburn.  Here are my 5 keys for Auburn to come out of College Station with a win:
