Led by new Mayor Ron Anders, the members voted to elect Ward 3 Councilwoman Beth Witten as the new Mayor Pro Tem. Atlanta, Ga (EETV)- After defeating the top ranked Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday, Auburn faced Alabama in the finals of the East Lake Cup. Auburn would win by a score of 4-1 over the Crimson Tide. The win was Auburn's second straight win over Alabama and their second straight top 5 win in the tournament. Auburn will be on break until the spring when they travel to Hawaii to play in the Amer Ari Invitational in February.

OPELIKA, Ala. (EETV)- Opelika Police arrested a 15-year-old student at Opelika High School Tuesday, charging him with carrying a concealed weapon. Police say that the student was taken into custody without incident and that there was no impact to normal operations at the school.
