Auburn, AL (EETV)- The National Weather Service in Birmingham has parts of Northern and Central Alabama under a severe thunderstorm watch from 1pm to 10pm today. There is a potential threat of tornadoes and high gusts up to 50 miles per hour.
Auburn's Campus Saftey is encouraging students to be cautious of the weather and to follow them for updates on their social media accounts. Students should find safe locations on campus if they are caught in inclement weather. Greene Hall and the RBD Library will serve as a shelter for students during the storms.
