How to Register to Vote in Alabama

Auburn, Ala (EETV) - On October 8th Eagle Eye Executive Producer, AJ Revera and Alabama Secretary of State,  Secretary John Merril, discussed how to get registered to vote.

The 2020 presidential election is in four weeks and there is still time to register for voting. 

Secretary John Merril states, “It's really, really easy” to register to vote. Visit AlabamaVotes.gov or download mobile app.” 

The last day to register to vote before the election on November 3rd is Monday, October 19th. 

Along with in-person voting, Alabama is doing voting by mail and vote absentee in person to accommodate voters. 

Secretary John Merril explains how you can do both, “In order to vote by mail or to vote absentee in Alabama, you must make an application. It must be turned in to the absentee election manager by mail or in person with a copy of your valid photo ID.”
