This win put the Tigers up four spots to land at a ranking of No.6, causing Georgia to trail at No.7. Auburn Running Back, Kerryon Johnson, stated on the Paul Finebaum Show, “we have to realize we need to focus on this game or next week doesn’t mean anything. We have to take care of business this week and let the rest play itself out.” Johnson refers to the team’s need to keep focus when excitement is building up for Nov.

Jordan VerHulst and Frankie Sullivan have been placed on administrative leave until further notice as part of an ongoing investigation into the men's basketball program.
