Jordan Langdon | January 26STAMFORD, Conn. (EETV) - The XLF is set to return in 2020 WWE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon announced Thursday. The hopes are to bring a "shorter, faster paced, family-friendly, and easier to understand game" back to football fans. There will be no crossing-over of talent from WWE to the XFL like there was in the old XFL. The new league will be structured similarly to the past with a 10-game regular season followed by two semi-finals playoff games and a championship game.
