Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand is set to become Texas' co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach.
The news of Hand's departure was first reported by Brett McMurphy and has been confirmed by a former Auburn offensive lineman to Eagle Eye.
Hand joined the Auburn coaching staff in 2016 after working for Penn State as their run-game coordinator and offensive line coach in 2014 and 2015.
Hand's departure comes a month after Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said Hand would be staying with the team through next season.
