Alabama Pre-K system named best in the nation

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (EETV) – Governor Kay Ivey is applauding the announcement that for the 12th year in a row, Alabama’s First Class Pre-K program is being hailed as one of the nation’s highest quality state-funded pre-kindergarten programs for four-year-olds. This report released today by the National Institute for Early Education Research in its 2017 State of Preschool Yearbook.

Auburn HR looking for student feedback

AUBURN, AL (EETV)- Auburn University students are invited to complete a brief survey about on-campus student employment and to share their suggestions for enhancing the University’s current processes. Survey results will be used to help configure TigerTalent, a campus-wide Talent Management System which is scheduled to launch by the end of this year.

Auburn student wins prestigious scholarship

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)– Auburn University sophomore Elizabeth Farrar will work this summer on a research project in Germany that focuses on the parasites that cause sleeping sickness, a disease deadly to both humans and animals. Farrar is one of only 150 students nationwide selected to conduct undergraduate research in Würzburg, Germany, this summer as a German Academic Exchange Service Research Intern in Science and Engineering, or RISE, undergraduate fellow.

Auburn's offense continues struggle in loss to Mississippi State

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Despite starting the season off hot, the Auburn offense has continued to cool-off with the Tigers struggling to get on base, let along score.  In their most recent 7-2 loss to Mississippi State Saturday, the Tigers once again struggled to score going 4-20 at the plate, posting a .200 batting average.
