Arrest following Sunday night shooting

Auburn Police have arrested Kendrevious Deshaun Dumas, 21, on a felony warrant with murder, following a shots fired call at an apartment complex Sunday night. Dumas is being held on a $150,000 bail at Lee County Detention Facility.

Tim Cook coming to Auburn

Apple CEO and Auburn graduate Tim Cook is scheduled to visit Auburn this Thursday at the Telfair Peet Theatre. Cook graduated in 1982 from Auburn with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering before obtaining a master’s degree at Duke University. Cook will talk about diversity, inclusion and equity in an event titled “A Conversation with Tim Cook: A Personal View of Inclusion and Diversity.” Tickets are free to Auburn students on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.
