Auburn University has modified its COVID-19 response policies

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn University will be revising four COVID-19 policies in response to guidelines released by public health officials.

There will be three main adjustments to Auburn's guidelines; they are:

1.  As of Monday, Sept. 28, masks and face coverings are only required outside when physical distancing is impossible.

2.  By Monday, Sept. 28, up to 100 people allowed to attend events. These people must be following the ‘A healthier U’ guidelines.

3.  As late as Nov. 30, all employees are expected to return to campus. Auburn supervisors will determine these plans. If an employee is vulnerable to the virus, they can review the categories to leave.

4.  Auburn executive vice president or provost will continue to approve all university travel.

These responses can be adjusted in the future if COVID-19 scenarios change and new information appears. Until these dates, Auburn staff and students should follow current guidelines.
