Safer at Home order extended to Dec. 11

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – On Thursday, Gov. Key Ivey extended Alabama’s Safer at Home order until Dec. 11, 5 p.m. due to COVID-19 cases rising.

Gov. Ivey announced the extension during a coronavirus press conference in Montgomery, Alabama. She extended the regulations in hopes it will relieve COVIDs spread.

The Health Order began on Mar. 13, 2020, suspending “Certain Public Health Gatherings Due to Risk of Infection by COVID-19.” It requires face masks in public and social distancing in public and businesses.
