Auburn, Ala. (EETV) –  Soccer traveled to Mississippi State Friday night battling to a scoreless draw in their fourth SEC game.

The Tigers put 4 of their 14 shots in the match were on frame.

Bri Folds leads with five shots, while Kristen Dodson follows closely with four shots in the match. Courtney Shell accounted for three more and each registered a shot on goal.

“We’re a bit frustrated because we didn’t think we played our best,” Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa told Auburn Athletics. “A lot of that is credit to Mississippi State and how direct they played."

The Auburn defense tallied their fifth shutout of the season (3rd in SEC play). They haven’t allowed a goal in approximately 280 minutes dating back to the team 1-1 draw at Tennessee last Thursday.

Auburn returns home Thursday, Oct. 5 before hitting the road to face Alabama Sunday, Oct. 8.
