Auburn, Ala. - Auburn Police arrested formal mayoral candidate Richard Speake at the 100 block of Burton Street Saturday for public intoxication.
Speake was a 2018 mayoral candidate who ran against six other opponents.
Speake was held at the Lee County Jail, but was later released after posting bail.
