WEGL to host Spring Concert Friday

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - WEGL, Auburn University’s on-campus radio station, will be hosting their annual Spring Concert Friday, April 12. The event will take place at 6 p.m. on Cater Lawn behind Katharine Cooper Cater Hall.

One of WEGL’s biggest events of the semester, the concert is free to all students and staff, aimed at highlighting local, regional and student musicians.

Featured artists include Tennessee indie rock band Easy Honey, local folk-punk act Bard of Baldwin County and Auburn-based post-indie group The Band Silhouette.

WEGL hosts multiple music-centered events each semester, including Concerts on Campus, Battle of the Bands and Open Mic Nights in collaboration with other student media organizations.

The station broadcasts live on 91.1 FM and on their website.

The organization also provides DJs for on-campus events like Picnic on the Plains and UPC Tiger Nights.
