Midterm 2018: Republican Agriculture and Industries Commissioner runoff

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Republican voters will decide Tuesday who they want to represent them in the agriculture and industries commissioner race.

Rick Pate is a businessman, owning Pate Landscape and a cattle farm. Additionally, Pate serves as the mayor of Lowndesboro, a small west Alabama town outside of Montgomery. Pate's campaign focuses on building a better environment for agricultural business in the state. 

Gerald Dial is currently a state senator from Lineville. Dial has served in the legislature for several terms, serving terms in the senate and house. Dial's campaign focuses on increasing educational opportunities, protecting the rights of property owners and growing the state's economy.

There is no democratic candidate in this race.
