Team Meshes in Road Win

College Station, Texas (EETV) - No. 14 Auburn close out their three-game road series with a win at College Station 42-27 over Texas A&M. Auburn's defense had a big game coming off the bye-week allowing 143 rushing years and 200 passing yards between 2 Aggie quarterbacks.  Special teams headlined the game for the Tigers.  Freshman walk-on punter Aidan Marshall averaged 47.4 yards a punt with his long being 70.  Nick Griffin made the stand-out play for Auburn, blocking a punt late in the first half which Malik Miller recovered in the end zone for the touchdown. The Auburn offense opened up the playbook and ended the day with 268 passing yards and 228 rushing yards with zero turnovers. The Tigers looked in sync coming off their bye-week despite a slow start in the first half.  Head coach Gus Malzhan praised all areas of the game but said they would need to focus on their specials teams more as they allowed a big kick off return and allowed 2 blocked punts.  Malzhan went on to say that he wants his team to enjoy this win and they we be all in for Georgia come Sunday. Auburn is set to take on the current number 1 team in the nation, the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov.
