Presidential Candidate Profile: Brianna Thomas

Auburn, Ala.(EETV)- Brianna Thomas is pushing and focusing on students to submit feedback. Thomas, a Junior from Jackson, Al, currently majoring in Political Science, says that student feedback is key in order to know if SGA is fixing the Auburn University students concerns. "[I am] focusing and pushing on getting students to submit feedback whether that be through Auburn Answers or Weekly Concourse Hours to SGA so that we can make sure that we can make sure that we are working on projects that students really want us to work on." Thomas is heavily involved at Auburn University.

Plain Talk, hosted by Eagle Eye TV's Digital Content Manager Ken Ward, hosts long interviews with the movers and shakers of Auburn University and our community. Basketball soars up the AP Poll

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Tigers sore to No. ____ from No. ___ in this week's AP Poll after handily defeating Mizzou and LSU. With their 95-70, Auburn remains perfect at home, going 11-0 in the Auburn Arena this season. The Tigers won both their games this past week by an average of 21.5 points.

False Alarm: Several Weather Sirens Accidentally Go Off In the Auburn Area

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- According to the Lee County Emergency Management Agency, several weather sirens went off today in the Auburn area. EMA said in a Facebook post that there is currently no severe weather and that siren technicians are currently working to see what caused them to go off. Here is the full post from the Lee County EMA: "Thank you to everyone who messaged and called us in regards to hearing the sirens sounding in the Auburn area this afternoon. At this time there are no watches or warnings for our area.

New Professional Football League to Launch in 2020

STAMFORD, Conn. (EETV) - The XLF is set to return in 2020 WWE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon announced Thursday. The hopes are to bring a "shorter, faster paced, family-friendly, and easier to understand game" back to football fans. There will be no crossing-over of talent from WWE to the XFL like there was in the old XFL. The new league will be structured similarly to the past with a 10-game regular season followed by two semi-finals playoff games and a championship game.

Local districts rank among best school systems in Alabama

Lee County, Ala. (EETV) - A new ranking released by  Niche , a data collection organization, gave Auburn and Opelika City School systems high marks in its newest ranking. In the company's rankings, Auburn City Schools placed 6th while Opelika City Schools came in 19th. The organization takes a comprehensive look at the school's system to come up with the rankings.

Auburn QB has shoulder procedure

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn football starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham was seen on campus earlier today with his left shoulder in a sling. The injury is unknown at this point.  The sophomore quarterback led the Tigers to a 10-4 record in 2017.
