Gamma Phi Beta's Moonball Tournament returns

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Gamma Phi Beta is set to host its annual spring philanthropy event, Moonball, on Sunday, March 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. The 5v5 basketball tournament will feature 28 teams competing to raise awareness and funds for Girls on the Run.

The winning team will receive $100 per player, and registration is $10 per participant. Open to the Auburn campus community, the event will take place at the Auburn Recreation and Wellness Center and aims to bring students together for a day of friendly competition while advocating for a good cause. Proceeds from the Moonball tournament will support Gamma Phi Beta’s mission of “Building Strong Girls,” helping empower young women through sport.

Moonball serves as Gamma Phi Beta’s signature philanthropy initiative, with chapters across North America hosting tournaments each year, ranging from kickball to volleyball to basketball, to support Girls on the Run. Beyond fundraising, the event promotes active lifestyles and gives members the opportunity to lead, mentor, and make a positive impact in their communities
