Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art to begin public tours this Thursday

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is set to begin daily public tours this Thursday, Sept. 3 from 5 to 6 p.m.

Auburn University students involved in the Education, Engagement and Learning unit will guide visitors through the Jule's many art exhibits, including its new exhibition "Being and Belonging in American Art."

The Jule Museum strives to make an accessible place for everyone who wants to learn about the arts to be able to explore collections, buildings and exhibits. This event aims to encourage experimentation and appreciation about the arts to all ages.

Admission is free to all, and attendees can register for the event upon arrival at the museum at the front desk. Student guides wearing an “Ask Me About Art” shirt are available at the museum for guests to ask about art and the collections the museum has to offer.
