BSU Cabinet Applications now open

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Cabinet applications for Auburn University's Black Student Union are now open and close this Thursday, April 3 at 11:59 p.m.

Students serving on BSU’s Cabinet have the opportunity to gain leadership experience, as well as further BSU’s mission to “represent the interests and concerns of Black Students at Auburn University, to bring together all aspects of Black Student life for the purpose of improving the campus environment, and encourage the involvement of Black students in ALL campus activities,” according to the organization’s AU Involve page.

A variety of positions are available in the categories of engagement, programs, outreach, administration, and communications & marketing. According to AU Involve, the Cabinet is looking for “individuals who are committed to service, advocacy, and meaningful impact to uplift BSU through intentional work and engagement.”

The Cabinet is just one way to get involved with BSU. Students can also join as a general member by attending a General Assembly meeting, held every Monday at 5:00 p.m. in MSC 2222.

Students interested in applying for Cabinet can get more information and access the application on BSU’s AU Involve page.
