New Student Section DJ at Jordan-Hare Stadium Brings Huge Success

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Being in the student section at Jordan-Hare Stadium feels like Skybar for most students now.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – Being in the student section at Jordan-Hare Stadium feels like Skybar for most students now.

Jordan-Hare Stadium debuted its Student Section DJ in the home opener against UMASS earlier this season. Students were impressed by this new prop, and it brought tons of reactions campus wide.

“I thought he brought a lot of energy,” said Auburn sophomore Quinn Has. “It was a packed crowd, and you can feel it.”

This new DJ has the potential to bring even more energy to the student section and the stadium as a whole in upcoming games, especially against rivals Georgia and Alabama.

The DJ played lots of popular tunes that the students and players got excited to, especially to Jimmy Buffet’s “Margaritaville” on the day of his passing.

This wasn’t the only enhancement that Jordan-Hare Stadium brought out that day. There was also an increased capacity that set the record for the biggest attendance in stadium history, more CO2 and pyro effects after an Auburn entrance and touchdown, and even more stadium lighting effects during night games including this Saturday when Auburn takes on Samford in their homecoming game at 6 p.m. CST.
