AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) -Auburn University has been ranked in the Top 100 of the nation’s top universities.
According to the US News and World Report, Auburn University's ranking in the 2024 edition of Best Colleges in National Universities, is No. 93. Along with this recognition, Auburn has been named No. 47 among top public schools.
U.S. News & World Report has a special formula, or methodology, to rank higher education institutions. They take several factors, each holding different weights, into consideration when deciding how colleges and universities will be ranked. These factors include graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, and even social mobility, which is how well these institutions were able to push students who are at a disadvantage economically to graduate.
As far as Auburn goes, the university is ranked in the top 100 in several different areas of focus, including: No. 86 in Nursing, No. 61 in Best Colleges for Veterans, and No. 53 in Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs.
