Ro Torrence Enters The Transfer Portal

AUBURN, Alabama (EETV) - Junior defensive back Ro Torrence has announced on Wednesday that he will be entering the transfer portal. The news was first reported by On3sports.

Torrence was the second player that the Tigers lost to the portal on Wednesday.

Torrence appeared in 10 games this past season, and accumulated four tackles, a forced fumble and a pass deflection.

He was a three-star recruit at the JUCO level from Hutchinson Community College. While at Hutchinson C.C., Torrence had 28 tackles, three tackles for loss, and an interception.

This off-season, Auburn picked up former three-star cornerback DJ James from Oregon in the transfer portal. In recruiting, they received the commitment of four-star defensive backs JaDarian Rhym, Austin Ausberry, Tre Donaldson and Keionte Scott, and three-star Caleb Wooden.

The Tigers look to finalize their potential starting defense for their annual A-Day on April 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
