ESPN's College GameDay Coming To Auburn

Rece Davis and company are set to queue up the No. 1 Tiger's SEC Matchup vs Texas A&M on Feb. 12.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to Auburn on Saturday, Feb. 12 for the No. 1 ranked Tigers’ contest against Texas A&M at Auburn Arena.

This is the second time in program history that the show, hosted by Rece Davis, with analysts Jay Bilas, LaPhonso Ellis and Seth Greenberg, will be held on Auburn’s campus.

The College Gameday crew has only broadcasted from two other sites this season, with Auburn being the third, as the show returned for its first on-the-road show since Jan. 29, 2020.

With all of the buzz around the game, Auburn Head Coach Bruce Pearl and his team understand the task at hand.

“It’s kind of what you go to work every day for. Hoping and dreaming that maybe on some Saturday afternoon in Auburn, Alabama – all eyes of the college basketball world will be upon us. That’s what happens when GameDay comes to town.”

In addition to all the anticipation surrounding the environment, Pearl added that, “It’s also a significant day because it’s our AUTLIVE Cancer game – Auburn Basketball’s fight against cancer. With ESPN being there, we’re thinking of Dick Vitale and his battle. We will recognize and honor Dick as he is outliving his battle with cancer.”

With all the emotions and high stakes for the game, Pearl knows Auburn faithful will be there, and will be loud, saying, “Jungle City will be up-and-running on Friday night.”

College Gameday will air at 10:00 a.m. (CT) / 11:00 p.m. (ET), and, therefore, tipoff versus the Aggies is now set for 11:00 a.m. (CT) / noon (ET) on ESPN.
