Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Texas A&M quarterback Zach Calzada announced he will be transferring to Auburn. Calzada will have two more years left of eligibility.

Calzada was the starting quarterback for the Aggies after Haynes King went down with an injury in their 10-3 win over Colorado, and led the team over their upset over Alabama.

During the 2021 season, Calzada completed 56.1% of his passes for 2,185 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

He will battle for the starting job with Dematrius Davis, TJ Finley, and four-star recruit Holden Geriner.
