Around the Rim: How the Tigers Are Doing in the NBA

Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn basketball has had great success over the last couple of seasons under head coach Bruce Pearl. Here's how some of his former players are doing in the NBA.

The NBA G-League schedule was full of Auburn alum matchups this week including former guards Bryce Brown and Sharife Cooper duking it out in a two game series.

BRYCE BROWN (Long Island Nets):

Brown and company squared off against Sharife Cooper and the College Park Skyhawks for a two game series. The Skyhawks defeated the Nets 117-98 in the first game on Dec. 9. Brown totaled 21 points, seven rebounds and one assist. He went 6-8 from behind the arc and made both of his free throw attempts. The Nets split the series with a 117-110 win two days later. Brown ended the game with 14 points, three rebounds and one assist.

SHARIFE COOPER (College Park Skyhawks):

Cooper had 33 points, three rebounds and four assists in the Thursday's win against the Nets. The rookie totaled 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in Sunday's game. He currently leads the team with 19.9 points and 5.3 assists on average this season.

CHUMA OKEKE (Orlando Magic):

Okeke and the Magic traveled to Los Angeles to play the Clippers and Lakers over the weekend. Okeke had four assists and two points in Saturday's 106-104 loss to the Clippers. He had two points and three rebounds the next day against the Lakers.

ISAAC OKORO (Cleveland Cavaliers):

Okoro scored 16 points in the Cavs' win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, Dec. 11. He led his team with 20 points, four rebounds and three assists in Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings

JARED HARPER (Birmingham Squadron):

Harper took on the Lakeland Magic and former teammate Samir Doughty. Harper is currently second in points (21.9) and assists (4.6) on the Squadron. He had 19 points in each game against the Lakeland Magic.

SAMIR DOUGHTY (Lakeland Magic):

Doughty set a career-high with 16 points and four rebounds in the Magic's first series loss to the Squadron. He's scored 10 or more points for the third time this season in the Magic's 97-88 loss on Sunday.

JT THOR (Charlotte Hornets):

Thor's first NBA bucket was a slam dunk over two-time All-Star Andre Drummond in the Hornet's overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. In his debut game, the 6-foot-10 forward played 20 minutes and had eight points, including the dunk that would give the Hornets a three-point lead.
