Auburn in the NFL: Week 5

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) — Auburn has produced many NFL players through the years, and on a weekly basis you will see many players shine for their respective teams.

CAROLINA PANTHERS:

Derrick Brown amassed three tackles in the Panthers narrow 21-18 loss to the Eagles. Brown was also able to get a pass deflection on former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts.

CINCINNATI BENGALS:

C.J. Uzomah was only targeted twice in their OT loss to the Green Bay Packers, but he was able to bring both in for 16 yards.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS:

The Raiders were only able to score nine points in their 20-9 loss to the Bears, but Daniel Carlson was 100% from the field.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS:

The Patriots survived the Houston Texans in their 25-22 win, and Jonathan Jones and Brandon King were both able to rack up a tackle on the stat sheet.

NEW YORK JETS:

Jamien Sherwood and the Jets travelled to London for their game against the Atlanta Falcons. Despite losing 27-20, Sherwood put up a career-high six tackles.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES:

Siposs is coming into his own for the Eagles, as he punted six times averaging over 45 yards per punt and downing the Panthers inside their own 20 once. #ForTheBrand

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS:

The Buccaneers clobbered the Dolphins 45-17, as Jamel Dean finished third on the Bucs in tackles with five.
