Auburn University extends optional remote instruction until February 7th

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn University has decided to extend the deadline for optional online instruction until Sunday, February 7th. Auburn will resume full on-site campus operations on Monday, February 8th. This one-week extension allows for the university to review additional COVID-19 policy changes recently announced by the Biden administration.

Faculty teaching face-to-face courses have the option to continue remote instruction through the 7th, if they choose. They are not required to teach remotely and may continue to offer face-to-face courses. You will be contacted by your instructor regarding any extensions to remote delivery.

All campus safety protocols remain in place. Students, faculty and staff are expected to comply with all university policies—including wearing face coverings indoors and outdoors and practicing physical distancing and proper hygiene—as well as restrictions on travel and event size.
