AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police arrested a Mobile man by the name of Fabian Aviance Deshawn Smith with a felony warrant charging him with murder.
Back in August, Auburn Police responded to a traffic incident around the 1600 Block of Shug Jordan Parkway. One of the individuals who was involved in the crash died as a result of injuries. After the investigation, it was determined that Smith was impaired when the incident occurred. His reckless driving resulted in the death of the victim.
After the warrant was obtained, Smith was arrested with the help of the Mobile Police Department and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He was then moved from Mobile Country to the Lee County Jail where he was held on a $150,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
