AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Auburn men's golf team, led by senior Alexander Kozan, finished 10th overall in their first tournament of the season at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
The Tigers finished 28-over (303-285-304--892) at the course, which was par-72. Kozan finished first for the Tigers, tying for 26th overall at 6-over. On the final day of the tournament, Kozan had three birdies and five pars.
J.M. Butler followed close behind Kozan, tying for 34th overall with 9-over. Wells Padgett tied 37th overall at 10-over with a team-high of 14 pars.
Alex Vogelsong finished in a tie for 46th overall with four birdies, a team best. The final Tiger to complete the lineup is C.J. Easley, who tied for 51st.
The Tigers' next meet will be at the Vanderbilt Legends Collegiate in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 25-27.
