Auburn University welcomes fifth annual Tiger Giving Day

AUBURN, Ala (EETV)-  For 24 hours on Wednesday, Feb. 19, the Auburn family will work together to better their community. Auburn does this by hosting Tiger Giving Day, a fundraiser for campus-wide projects.

These project types range from fundraising for shipping container gardens to Theme park engineering competitions. Multiple different clubs get involved every year to create learning opportunities and better themselves.

Scott Kramer, building of science professor, said for this year’s projects he is advocating the College of Architecture, Design, and Constructions Medical backpack that “allows health care professionals in remote locations around the world to carry diagnostic tests, equipment, and medical supplies to people who have no access to health care services.”

Some older favorite donor projects have returned this year. Wheelchair basketball, campus Kitchens, the Gene Machine, and Canine Performance Science are all on TigerGiving.org, until midnight.
