Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Miss Auburn Candidate Megan Ondrizeik is a third-year student majoring in Communication Disorders. Ondrizeik has experience in on-campus involvement positions such as an IMPACT Vice President of Communications, a Project Uplift Mentor, a Cardinal Key member, and a Be Well Hut Ambassador.
Ondrizeik’s platform is focused around service both on and off-campus specifically through the following line of Auburn’s Creed.
“I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.”
Ondrizeik chose this line as she feels it emphasizes the importance of service and kindness is building the Auburn Family.
“Throughout this week I want to emphasize the importance of the human touch, the gravity of relationships, and the impact of a servant’s heart on our community. I am passionate about service because I am passionate about people. During this time, it is my goal to encourage people to see beyond themselves, feel the support that the people of the greater Auburn community have for them, and extend that love back to them through community service and simple acts of kindness.”
