Meet the Miss Homecoming candidates: Alison Beverly

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - It's officially Miss Homecoming election week and five senior women are campaigning across campus to promote their platforms.

Biomedical Sciences major Alison Beverly is from Pelham, Alabama.

She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, a Diamond Doll, a Panhellenic Pi Chi, the Panhellenic Director of Health and Wellness and a supervisor at the Auburn Recreation and Wellness Center.

Her campaign is focused on sexual assault awareness and prevention. She hopes to make the process of reporting sexual assaults around campus easier and more well-known, increase awareness and work with Auburn's Student Government Association to place a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) in the university's medical clinic.

Miss Homecoming elections are on Friday, September 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students can vote online at aub.ie/sgavote.
