AUBURN, Ala. -- SGA election results have been officially announced during call outs on Cater Lawn.
Mary Margaret Turton has been elected as President with 44.27 percent of the vote.
"Honored is the only word right now that comes to mind. This title is something that I do not take lightly," said Turton in an interview with Eagle Eye TV. "I am absolutely humbled and so excited to represent the students' voice in this way."
Laura Davenport has been elected as this year's Miss Auburn with 26.63 percent of the vote.
Carlos Smith has been elected as Vice President with 63.11 percent of the vote.
Hunter Short has been elected as Treasurer with 51.19 percent of the vote.
Out of over 29,000 eligible voters, there was a total of 11,405 votes (a 39.29 percent voter turnout)
