Auburn, Alabama (EETV)- Auburn Women's Golf signed Megan Schofill as she filled out her letter of intent this morning. Schofill resides in Monticello, Florida and played golf at Glen Arven Country Club.
Schofill is the number 1 golf recruit from the state of Florida as well as the 10th overall recruit for 2019. She has won 12 junior titles and qualified for the USGA's Amateur Championship.
Head coach Melissa Luellen said, "Megan is an extremely strong ball striker and an accomplished player, She attended our golf camp for three years and fell in love with Auburn." Schofill will arrive at Auburn in the fall and plans to major in Communications.
Auburn Women's Golf will return to action in February as they will play in the Lake Oconee Intercollegiate.
