Auburn Student Charged With Armstrong Street Burglary

Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- On Saturday, December 11, 2017, the Auburn Police Division arrested Patrick Andres Grace, age 20, from Auburn, AL on three felony warrants, charging him with 2 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and 1 count of Theft of Property 3rd Degree. Grace was also arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for Theft of Property 4th Degree.

On December 9, 2017, the Auburn Police Division responded to burglary complaints in the 200 block of Armstrong Street, Auburn, AL. An unknown suspect was observed inside three different residences; the male suspect was confronted by residents, who contacted Police. Items valued at approximately $392.00 were reported stolen, including U.S. currency, a credit card, gift cards, and miscellaneous identification cards.

Grace, who lived near the victims, was identified as the suspect; he was found to be in possession of approximately $330.00 in property and U.S. currency that had been reported stolen. Subsequently, Grace was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail where a bond was set for $11,500.00. This case is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are anticipated.

According to the Auburn University directory, Grace is a sophomore majoring in Pre-Buisness.
