Anticipated impact of Hurricane Irma on Auburn decreased.

Homecoming week comes to The Plains

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Students are sure to notice the Miss Homecoming campaigns on the Haley Concourse this week. Despite missing a day of campaigning Monday due to Hurricane Irma, plenty of people are out now encouraging students to vote for their chosen candidate.

Eagle Eye TV exclusively has the official videos of the candidates revealing their campaigns, which this year center around a cause related to the campus or local community. Check out those videos here

In addition to the race for Miss Homecoming, Auburn is also hosting a variety of homecoming events leading up to this weekend's game against Mercer.

A homecoming parade will be held this Friday at 6 p.m. throughout downtown Auburn. Parade floats that are participating in the annual float competition will be featured, as well as the Miss Homecoming candidates, the marching band, Aubie, and others. A pep rally will be held after on Samford Lawn.
