Men’s Golf t-2nd at Trinity Forest Invitational

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) – No. 13 Auburn men’s golf finished tied for second with No. 22 Texas Tech at 7-under at the Trinity Forest Golf Club on Tuesday.

No. 10 Florida took the tournament at 17-under par.

Freshman Brandon Mancheno tied for third individually at 6-under par, while freshman Wells Padgett tied for 11th at 1-under.

Sophomore Jovan Rebula finished tied for 17th for an even score. 

Junior Jacob Solomon tied for 20th at 1-over and junior Trace Crowe tied for 46th at 6-over.

“I am very pleased with the way we played against a very strong field,” head coach Nick Clinard said to Auburn Athletics. “Both our freshman, Brandon and Wells, had outstanding tournaments, finishing third and 11th. Jovan had a final round 69 as he and Jacob both were in the top 20.”

The Auburn Tigers travel to Vestavia Hills, Alabama for the Jerry Pate National at Old Overton Oct. 9-10.
