Auburn's offense continues struggle in loss to Mississippi State

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Despite starting the season off hot, the Auburn offense has continued to cool-off with the Tigers struggling to get on base, let along score.  In their most recent 7-2 loss to Mississippi State Saturday, the Tigers once again struggled to score going 4-20 at the plate, posting a .200 batting average.


Auburn defense continues to shine while offense shows its youth in A-Day game

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Without the arm of starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham, the Tigers showed there's room for growth offensively in their annual A-Day game.  Auburn was without Stidham due to him having left shoulder surgery in February, leaving Malik Willis and Joey Gatewood to start for their respected teams.

Tigers narrowly escape first-round upset

SAN DIEGO, Ca. (EETV) - Despite struggling offensively, No. 4 Auburn avoids a first-round exit by No. 13 College of Charleston, defeating the Cougars 62-58 Friday night. "Offensively, it was a struggle and we're going to have to play better on Sunday particularly to be able to advance,” Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said.


Tigers earn first tournament berth since 2003

ATLANTA, Ga. (EETV) - After losing to Alabama Friday in the SEC Tournament, No. 19 Auburn learned they will be going dancing for the first time since 2003, the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee announced Sunday.  The Tigers earned this year No. 4 seed in the Midwest region with a 25-7 season record.


Tigers struggle in second half to fall to Alabama

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (EETV) - After leading by 10 at the half, No. 1 seeded Auburn struggles in the second half to lose to rival No. 9 seeded Alabama 81-63 in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.  Alabama's Collin Sexton would take over the game for the Tide, leading them to a 50 point second half.
