Aggies hand Tigers first home loss

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - A late rally for No. 8 Auburn proves not enough as the Aggies hand the Tigers their first home loss 81-80. With 3 seconds to go, Auburn had a chance to win the game on a 3-point buzzer beater from Mustapha Heron but the shot fell short as time expired. "We didn't execute it properly," Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said of the final shot.

NCAA denies Wiley appeal

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn center Austin Wiley will officially not see the court this season.  The NCAA denied the Auburn basketball sophomore's appeal regarding his elibility for the 2017-2018 season.  The NCAA handed down their first descion on Wiley's future on Jan.

Basketball finally in the Top 10

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Tigers make their first top-10 appearance at  No. ___  this week's AP Poll after defeating Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. The Tigers moved from No. 11 after their 79-70 win on the road at Oxford followed by their 12th straight home win 93-81 over Vanderbilt Saturday. Auburn is still the highest ranked SEC team in the nation.

Tigers stay perfect at home

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Auburn Tigers faced off against the Vanderbilt Commodores for a Saturday night show down in the Auburn Arena.  The Tigers came into the game 20-2 and were coming off a huge road win against Ole Miss.

Basketball soars up the AP Poll

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Tigers sore to No. ____ from No. ___ in this week's AP Poll after handily defeating Mizzou and LSU. With their 95-70, Auburn remains perfect at home, going 11-0 in the Auburn Arena this season. The Tigers won both their games this past week by an average of 21.5 points.

New Professional Football League to Launch in 2020

STAMFORD, Conn. (EETV) - The XLF is set to return in 2020 WWE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon announced Thursday. The hopes are to bring a "shorter, faster paced, family-friendly, and easier to understand game" back to football fans. There will be no crossing-over of talent from WWE to the XFL like there was in the old XFL. The new league will be structured similarly to the past with a 10-game regular season followed by two semi-finals playoff games and a championship game.

Auburn QB has shoulder procedure

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn football starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham was seen on campus earlier today with his left shoulder in a sling. The injury is unknown at this point.  The sophomore quarterback led the Tigers to a 10-4 record in 2017.

Basketball slips in latest AP Poll

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - After going 1-1 this past week, Auburn basketball falls to No. 19 from No. 17 in this week's AP Poll.  The Crimson Tide snapped the Tigers 14-game win streak Wednesday, handing Auburn their first conference loss 76-71. Auburn rebounded Saturday with a 14-point comeback win over Georgia 79-65 at home.  Florida (12-5) and No. 18 Kentucky (14-3) follow closely behind in the standings, both 4-1 in the SEC. This season Auburn is No. 12 in scoring offense in the country averaging 86.5 points per game.

Basketball comes back from 14-down to get 5th SEC win

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - No.17 Auburn overcomes at 14-point halftime deficit to take down visiting Georgia 79-65. Bryce Brown led the Tiger comeback scoring 25 of his 28 points in the second half.  "......" The Tigers got out to a slow start shooting 25% from the floor in the first half making 7 of their 25 shot attempts.  Georgia took advantage of a cold Auburn hand, jumping out to an early 16 point lead late in the first half.  "......" Juwan Park led the Bulldogs with 13 points in the first half.

Reports: Buffalo's Allen Greene To Replace Jacobs As AD

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- A report from Auburn Undercover states that current Buffalo athletics director Allen Greene is alleged to be Auburn University’s pick to replace Jay Jacobs as athletics director. Jacobs, who has come under fire recently for multiple scandals, recently announced his resignation after serving for many years as Auburn's AD.

Report: OL Coach to Leave Auburn

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand is set to become Texas' co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach.  The news of Hand's departure was first reported by Brett McMurphy and has been confirmed by a former Auburn offensive lineman to Eagle Eye.  Hand joined the Auburn coaching staff in 2016 after working for Penn State as their run-game coordinator and offensive line coach in 2014 and 2015. Hand's departure comes a month after Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said Hand would be staying with the team through next season.

Basketball climbs poll to No. 17

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - After another victorious week, Auburn basketball climbs up from number 22 to number 17 in this week's AP Poll.  With their win over Mississippi State 76-68 Saturday, the Tigers claim sole possession of the SEC, going 4-0 to start conference play and 16-1 overall.  Florida (12-5) and Kentucky (14-3) follow closely behind in the standings, both 4-1 in the SEC. The Tigers now have the longest active win streak in college basketball at 14 games.
